Multi-branch accounting software where a branch is a real thing, not a column
There are two ways to build multi-branch support. One adds a branch field to every row and filters on it. The other gives the branch its own identity, its own registration and its own books. Easyy Accounting ERP is built the second way, and it shows up everywhere.
Groups that have stopped being one book of accounts
The point at which a business needs this is usually obvious in hindsight: the second branch opened, someone started keeping a spreadsheet to work out what each location actually earned, and the monthly close got a day longer.
- Distributors with a warehouse in more than one city or state
- Groups running several legal entities that want one login rather than several
- Businesses whose branches hold separate GST registrations
- Owners who need a branch-by-branch view and a combined one, from the same data
- Companies where different staff should see different branches
What the branch actually carries
Its own registration
Each branch holds its own country, state, city and tax registration, which is what lets tax logic differ branch by branch.
Its own books
Transactions belong to the branch that raised them, so branch performance is a report rather than a reconstruction.
Consolidated reporting
Reports run per branch and combined, from the same posted data, with no separate consolidation step.
Multi-company from one login
Several companies can be run from a single login, each provisioned its own database rather than sharing one pool behind a filter.
Role-based access
Who can see and do what is set per role and per module, scoped to the branches that role should reach.
An audit log on every change
Every insert, update and delete is recorded with who did it and when, which is the question that actually gets asked at audit time.
Setting up a second branch
Define the branch
The branch is created as a master with its own location and tax registration details.
Scope the people
Roles decide which branches each user reaches and what they may do there — view, edit or delete, per module.
Run it
Staff work inside their branch, and documents carry that branch's registration without anyone selecting it per transaction.
Report both ways
Management reporting runs branch by branch and consolidated, without exporting anything to a spreadsheet to add up.
Several companies, one login, separate databases
Multi-branch and multi-company are different problems. Branches sit inside one company and roll up into its books. Separate companies do not roll up — they are separate legal entities with separate books, and the only thing they should share is the person signing in.
Easyy Accounting ERP provisions each company its own dedicated database rather than filtering one shared pool by an ID. That is the same isolation model on every plan, and it is the reason one company's records cannot surface in another's reports.
Branch performance stops being an argument
The first thing most owners do with branch-wise books is settle a question they have been having informally for a year: which branch is actually making money. Until the books are kept per branch that is an estimate built from whichever numbers are to hand, and everybody's estimate is slightly different.
Once transactions belong to the branch that raised them, the answer is a report. Shared costs still need a policy, and that policy is yours to set rather than ours to guess, but the underlying figures stop being in dispute.
Questions we get asked
How many branches can one company have?
Branches are created as masters, so the number is a matter of your setup rather than a fixed limit. Tell us your structure at the demo and we will scope it.
Can each branch have its own GST registration?
Yes. Each branch carries its own country, state, city and tax registration, which is what lets the tax treatment differ from branch to branch.
Can staff be limited to one branch?
Yes. Access is role-based, set per role and per module, and scoped to the branches that role should reach.
Do we get consolidated reports?
Yes. Reports run per branch and combined from the same posted data.
How is a second company different from a second branch?
A branch sits inside one company and rolls into its books. A separate company is provisioned its own dedicated database and does not roll up at all.
Is the audit log optional?
No. Every insert, update and delete is logged automatically, with the user and timestamp.
